I had immediate misgivings about an article Ram43 posted about lockdowns being more harmful than the actual coronavirus just because he found it at townhall.com (a known conservative-leaning message board where many posters look to diminish/deflect Covid-19's impact). Yeah just saying that townhall.com is a right-wing editorial source doesn't answer real issues. The issue is the studies being used to make claims.

And you were right to link the study itself. It wasn't just simply that the Times reported it. Or that for that matter the President made claims about this issue (and he's not an objective source either).

It's the study itself, the one being reported--does IT hold up or not? Are there other studies that arrive at other conclusions? Those are the real issues.
