Lost my dad at age 79 to Alzheimer's. Took care of him the last year of his life. Watching the greatest man I've ever known slip away a day at a time was the hardest thing I've ever endured. For me hands down the worst part of getting older is all the loved ones we lose. I've lost so many in the last few years, three of them were only in their 50s.

The only solace is they live on forever in our memories.
