The biggest punch in the gut there is...

June 27, 2020 12:31PM
Is losing someone and not long after, damn near picking up a phone to call them. As much as I love football season, it's painful not having my Dad or Brother around to talk Gator football or go to games. Lost my Mom just over two years ago. She was my "go to" person if I had a question about family history or old friends. Since she passed, I have encountered dozens of times when I have had questions she could answer. I'm only 53 and am two years (Mom's passing) from being the last of my immediate family. It's very strange and sometimes a VERY lonely feeling that nobody can fill. But.... I always smile when I know they are in God's hands and together.
