The Ebola virus epidemic years ago.. I gotta admit I was a lot more concerned about that one, than this one..

During the Swine Flu pandemic we spent 2 weeks in Mexico.. Wasn't by design - we had booked the trip months earlier and the pandemic went viral right when we were leaving.. supposedly it was really bad in Mexico, so we flew right into the belly of the beast.. We were the only people on the plane going down there - just us.. Everyone in Mexico had high-tailed it out of there and we literally had the entire coast to ourselves.. there was NOBODY down there..

Right then and there we swore we'd travel during whatever pandemic was being reported right into the hot spots cuz we'd have the entire place to ourselves.. and with nobody there, you won't catch jack.. only issue was flying back home.. we had to go through some gizmo that detected fever and stuff and if you didn't pass, you weren't going home and would go into seclusion for two weeks.. but we passed, so that was cool.. Gotta start looking at plane fares!
