I refuse to talk or text when I'm behind the wheel. If a call comes in while I'm driving and I think it's something I just HAVE to address right then because I'm a ways from my destination, I find someplace to pull over and park so I can return the call. My daughter has gotten much better about it, but she used to call me from her car ALL the time. I'd ask, "Are you driving?!" and she'd say "Yes" which would prompt me to spew out some nasty language about using the cell phone while driving before I hung up on her. Do you know how truly miserable and guilty I would feel if I heard a collision involving her while she was talking to ME on the phone... which she shouldn't have been doing in the first place? and I KNOW she's doing it? If I know a person is driving while using the phone to talk to me, I tell them to get back to me once they've reached their destination and I hang up.
