Personally, I think there is way to much emphasis on sports in all realms of our society. Win, win, win, win. No matter how you do it-steroids, sign stealing, on and on. A great article in today's L.A. Times by Joel Stein on how our society is able to forgive wrongdoing simply because "everybody does it". Its the "all my friends get to play fortnight" syndrome.
