Saw this on a news alert today and it floored me. For me, and perhaps most musicians, this equates to locating Amelia Earhart. NO, it's not confirmed.
Funny thing... the plane was actually found 32 years ago (English Channel). The fisherman who pulled it up was told to put it back, which he did while noting the coordinates.
Another funny thing.... The plane type Glenn was in, ALL of them, have been accounted for except for ONE... so if it's a UC-64A Norseman then it's the right plane.
The English Channel is one of the most amazing places on earth, IMHO. Can you even imagine how much history resides at the bottom of the English Channel?
