I like some..

new age/new wave stuff from the 80's and some of it is pretty cool if rocked out a bit more heavy.. Flock of Seagulls "I Ran" is killer rocked up heavier, just like some Romantics and other similar stuff.. I love a lot of old punk rock - Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedy's, Stranglers, etc.. We currently do a rocked up version of Brian Adams "Summer of '69" that is totally cool.. Just a tad faster, heavier guitars and more attitude.. people love it and I love playing it..

So, I guess in the long run, it depends on the attitude you play a song with.. There's a lot of good 80's new wave that are GOOD songs, maybe just not in their current arrangement.. Sometimes rocking a good tune out the way you want to and the way you FEEL it, makes for a pretty cool experience..

Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
