Good luck with the show..

September 27, 2018 07:55AM
and with the new band, should you get that rolling.. I cancelled the Halloween show this year due to health issues (again) but hope to do Valentine's next year.. or maybe just skip to Halloween..

I'd really like to get another band rolling, myself.. When I put this band together, like 17 years ago, nobody, and I mean NOBODY would touch 80's metal.. Once we finally got rolling and playing sold out shows, people starting copying us in town - some literally writing down our entire song list to play themselves.. The club we played started bringing in a lot of Dallas tribute bands - all 80's metal tribute bands.. so, 17 years after doing something NOBODY would touch, now EVERYBODY is doing it here and I'm feeling pretty bored with it.. and I think the general public here is, as well..

So, I'd like to do something different.. Still in an 80's vibe with originals and popular 80's tunes that nobody plays - even now.. With an even bigger show.. but, would be super difficult to pull off in this town, which s so closed-minded.. Then I wonder how long that would be successful until everybody copied that, as well.. Sorry - just ranting here...
