Just not a fan of it (I love rock and roll) now mostly because of Karaoke. Not her fault of course... but still. But absolutely kudos to her for breaking down some of those barriers. Put that way it makes more sense, especially the influence thing. Not musically necessarily but opening doors for future female rockers.
So maybe King Crimson has a chance someday. They have a "hit" song and good musicians. Maybe they'll get in on a slow year. They are touring.
• Not that anyone cares but I am not a huge Crimson fan. I don't want to make it sound like I am. But I do have a few albums that I really like and some of their music (because I probably haven't heard most of it) is probably the most technically difficult and intelligent music I have listened to. Discipline is a landmark album IMO.
