I take it to mean someone at the top of their profession. Like an Issac Bruce VS Danny Amendola.
But perhaps its personal preference. I am not a fan so I don't get it at all. When I think HOF I think Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Hendrix. Bands or individuals who impacted the music world with an insane talent and skill and popularity.
But lots of bands and musicians are in the HOF that IMO don't meet that criteria, so it must be based on something I don't understand.
