and to be honest I didn't recognize it by the opening line, "Buck....." THAT was one of the greatest reads of my life.... one that truly changed my entire outlook on life.

When my oldest grandson was about 5, maybe 6.... which was 13 years ago.... I read that entire novel to him over a few nights.

I have probably read it 12-15? times in my life. So I'm ticked at myself for not recognizing it.
