I'm jaded, and i admit it. I'm not wow'd easily anymore. I'm buying the new iPhone but that's because I dropped my phone in the lake earlier this year.
So OLED display... supplied by Samsung to Apple.. that make any sense to you at all?
Face ID: This is nice, it's also amazing, and my reaction is "eh". I was fine with fingerprint ID. Even if FaceID is more secure.
New camera, photos and video.. this is truly amazing, fabulous. I like it a lot... even though, I don't really use it much. Never the less... on those rare occasions when I do.. it can do magic.
Animoji's... all I can say is... I could give a flying rat's buttocks.
Wireless Charging... simply FABULOUS. It's about time.
Battery Life - 2 hours more than the iPhone 7, they say. They're lying their butt's off.. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN... tech companies lie about nearly everything but NOTHING more than battery life. The first complaint about the new iPhone X killing the battery will come in 3 weeks before it's released.. and it will be TRUE. Patches will ensue, none will work, Apple will say "It's not our fault". Don't EVEN try to tell me Android's are better.. that's flagrant BS.
The Price: Horrendous. The max'd out iPhone X will be $1,200. The cheapo 64gb base model will be $999. Some of you are applauding that but do the math.. that's $1 less than $1,000.
So I will be getting one then I'll be moaning and groaning about it because that's what I do. - JamesJM
