I don't think about it often but when it does cross my mind it's astounding to me how the 'barriers' between fame and us common folk have been fortified.

As I've written many times... thru the 70's I could pretty much go up to any Ram, Ram Coach, Ram OWNER.. and chat. It wasn't hard, didn't require any special skills other than being in the same area they were in. The fact is... from where I parked for the games, (same parking lot as the players), they'd park, get out of their vehicle, walk across the parking lot, the road, onto the Coliseum ground and into the tunnel pretty much unmolested... except for me, of course.
