I agree with that..

I wanna be a kid again, but in my own kid years - not today..

I wanna ride my bike all over town.. I wanna scrounge up 25 cents out of the couch and car floorboards and go buy candy at a Jiffy Mart.. I wanna get excited over McDonald's fries for dinner.. I wanna chase after the ice cream truck on a hot day, pretend I'm McArthur and bomb the Japs in my sandbox, go to the pool and do nothing but jump in and out constantly and then do a cannonball without worrying if I'll be talking an octave higher for a week..

I wanna sleep late on Saturdays, but get up early enough to watch REAL cartoons until noon, throw down pancakes and pray for pizza for dinner.. I wanna dream about all the cool stuff - like HO trains - that I'll get for my birthday and Christmas and then how much cooler I'll be than everybody else cuz I got them.. and I also wanna pull some real shenanigans and do my best to cover it up so nobody catches me.. And if they do, who cares cuz sometimes a butt bustin' is worth it, depending upon the shenanigans you've pulled..

It would be really cool if most of the stuff I mentioned was everyday life, with a full life ahead of me, full of dreams, promise, and fame and fortune and, of course, pirates treasure...
