Recent water tests have been fine with several of the neighboring properties. And the home inspection if we buy it will also have to reflect the same.
My wife recently informed me that we already live next to a field that gets crop dusted regularly, lol... And she is right but the field is mostly hidden... and we are not right next to it but probably less than 100 yards.
So I have been doing my research on fast growing trees. It would seem like that would be a good decision... At least there is no neighbor behind us.
We really like the area. We can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, theater, tennis, etc... but we are still basically in the country. And effectively have only one neighbor. And have access to the pond: fishing, kayaking... And it is less than 20 minutes to the ocean... It is also closer to my daughter's school and reduces her time on the road by almost 2000 miles over the school year.
So I think we are all in... Now I have to plan the Man Cave: Music Studio • Home Theater • Office. If my wife and kid let me have a room.... !!!
Thanks for the input. It's never cut and dry. I think if we take precautions we will be fine.
