the 'ol placebo effect may be creeping in during the cupping exercises.. From what I've seen, it LOOKS like it hurts like hell.. so, if it does, I'm sure the pain relief you feel is from your own endorphins kicking it.. If THAT'S the case, I can think of a whole bunch of other painful ways to make your endorphins kick in without making you look like a polka dot...
