Probably watch Wiley Coyote and think, "Whoa, that's not really funny, I know someone who fell off a cliff".
I don't think 'cheating' is as rampant as you do, "most". It certainly happens, however.
And I draw very clear line of distinction between the athletes and the I.O.C.
But say I'm wrong... 99% of them cheat. I'll still celebrate the 1%.
Drugs... sad situation, and anything that can harm your health and give you an unfair advantage is abominable BUT... I don't know about the application of current drop use monitoring... I'm not convinced 'trace amounts' of some over the counter cough syrup really qualifies as 'drug abuse', and I have serious doubts it gives you an 'unfair advantage'.
And then there is 'cupping'.... what do you think, Les? Do you think that's actually effective? Ever see the movie "Semi-Tough"? Just a terrible movie... but in that movie they portray athletes who will grasp at any 'stupid' thing they believe will give them and advantage. Seems every Olympics there is some form of 'cupping', some new fad that many athletes fall prey too.
Personally I think Michelle Tofoya should have started most of her interviews by asking, "Ok, but you do realize you look like an idiot with all those giant red splotches all over you don't you?"
