-TV ratings did dip when the NBA moved from NBC to cable TV, but this resulted in a huge $$$$ deal from cable (ESPN, TNT, and NBA Net)
-consider that TV ratings suck for the NFL Thursday Night games on NFL Network, not everyone has cable, and not everyone that has cable gets TNT and ESPN.
-financially and game attendance wise, the NBA is the healthiest it has ever been.....
