it's been much worse for the NBA.
1) Some of the NBA finals used to be on tape delay
2) most of the NBA Playoffs used to be on tape delay.
3) some of NBA games used to be on tape delay.....
If those TV ratings from the late 70's through the early 80's "drove sports" there would be no NBA today...
