It's nothing but an All Star league with very few TEAMS and worst of all...........ZEEEEERO rivalries! The games are ALL about what LeBron or Durant do or don't do. There are no more dominant big guys. Moses, Jabaar and Dawkins would have smeared today's DIVAS. Today, these guys do a routine dunk and look for a camera. But if they are touched, it's instant bad blood. Again, Moses would've been under their skin so bad it would not be funny.
And Lord help ALL of today's stars if the NBA ever actually........GASP!!!......enforces travelling.
I miss the 1980s when there were MULTIPLE good teams with MULTIPLE players. CBS' coverage back in the day was a real event. If s star player was ona team that just lost a Championship, they did not instantly look for bigger $$$ elsewhere or point fingers. As an old school Laker fan, I recall after the Celtics beat L.A. in 1984, Magic took it personally. He took responsibility. They won it all next year...IN THE BOSTON GARDEN! In the modern NBA, we'd have Kobe blaming the Center or other teammates for making his shots difficult (A REAL excuse he used 3-4 years ago)
I grew up with NBA JUNKIES. LOTS OF THEM! These days, I know that none of them could care less.
Yeah, the NBA is still popular but towards the new generations who only want to see dunks and 3 pointers. There IS lots of that! But if you want to see good TEAMS and classic games???????????
