That one episode is in my top 3 of ALL of TV with me. Beulah Bondi plays Martha Corrine so well. That episode ALWAYS gets to me. For one thing, she reminds me of my own Grandmother (Dad's Mom) who was an old salt Country lady who used snuff. And it REALLY strikes home when she says there's nothing more sad than growing old and watching Kin Folk and friends pass one by one. My Grandfather told me the VERY same thing when I had just turned 11. And boy was he right! The very end scene when she's picking flowers and has her last attack. The way she looks up, though in pain, has a smile because she knows that is it.......Man! That gets me every time. THAT makes me think of all the talks my Mom had with me about older people accepting their time........So seeing it now, also makes me think of my Mom. Just a GREAT episode.
