But it doesn't change my mind. Which is: confused about it all.
Ok, a tangent.... there comes a time when all you've said, me too, comes into play. i'm not involved in any of that. I AM involved in all the levels previous to that.... and it's 'glorious'. Allow me to bring up, once again, my Grandson's HS Freshman Valley Championship.... I honestly don't think a SB Ring today comes close to what that Valley Championship meant to a Freshman in High School. And it doesn't end there, by any means. It continues into the JC level... another grandson.. AND into DII Football... another grandson. THAT is what you and I would both like to see as reason and priority for sports. But that's unrealistic. And just to be clear - It also continues into D1, (no grandson), and I think for a short time with a some NFL draftees.... and yes, some vet NFL players... Kupp as a perfect example. How do you keep that, foster that? I don't have a clue. - JamesJM
