It was early Dec 1987. All within maybe an hour / hour and a half....The temps went from about 42-43 up to close to 71-73 degrees, at which time, tornadoes tore up the area up and down the Mississippi River from the Missouri Boot Heel down to just South of Memphis. West Memphis, Ark got hit the hardest. The storms cleared out to totally cloudless skies and then the temps dropped to about 30. Still the weirdest weather I have ever seen.
