I used to LIVE for the Sears Wishbooks when I was a kid. It would arrive at the house and we would pore through it for hours and days.
We'd drool over toys we'd know we could never have but it was fun to dream... we'd circle the toys we really wanted. I just loved that catalogue.
We looked at everything, not just toys. It was fun to look at clothes and furniture, too. I was in elementary school during the time my family was stationed in Germany and the Wishbooks were about all we had for shopping, other than the PX on post. Loved that book.
