Speaking of the Rose Bowl

Not sure were it stands

but........

The Rose Bowl has ask to be removed from the College Football Playoff rotation

with college football going to a 12 team playoff system , bowl games would rotate , championship games , etc.

but the Rose Bowl wants to be let out of that rotation , because the dates of those games would change , with the Championship game being played as late Jan 9th

The Rose Bowl wants to remain , a New Years Day only game

so.........

unless the Rose Bowl and the CFP , can work something out , the Rose Bowl will no longer be part of the CFP schedule
