We started watching that old mini series North and South

from the 1980's

finished watching Manhunt on Apple TV , it was OKish

but got interested in the Cival War again , so we started watching North and South

my wife remembers watching some of it , she can't remember if she has seen the whole thing , there is like 15 episodes , and each episode is like an hour and a half , 6 came out in 1985 , 6 came out in 1986 , and then the last three came out in the 1990's

but what was strange , yes , I'd heard of it , and knew what it was about , but didn't think I'd ever actually seen it before , it came out in 1985 , and I was in the NAVY at the time , so I know I'd never seen it when I was away

but we watched the first episode , and I remembered every little bit , so I was like , when the heck did I watch it , I must have been home on leave or something , I know thats the only way

crazy , that show came out nearly 40 years ago , and I could remember it from start to finish , I'm curious now to see if I remember any of episode 2

but from what I heard , it's kind of like The Godfather , seasons one and two are really good , but season three , made some years later is disappointing
