A team that had Players that would CONSISTENTLY choke up a bit and simply place the ball BEHIND the base runner??? What blew me away was you'd see guys capable of hitting HRs do it. To see a lead off man get on these days doesn't mean squat like it used to. If the Cards did it?? You had a much better chance than 50/50 of it hurting you.
