was the Giants vs the Cubs at Seal's Stadium in S.F. I can't remember the year. I do remember a lot of the game - not as well as I remember the hot dog however. Hey I was maybe 6? 7? 8?
I remember thinking Seal's stadium was a Palace.
I couldn't believe anything like it existed outside of Europe. For a farm kid whose closest neighbor was ½ mile away everything about that game was awe inspiring. That was probably my first promise to myself - "When I grow up I'm going to be a professional baseball player"..... that didn't work out. BUT... I haven't given up all hope.
