Caitlin Clark set records every game she played this year , and not just TV ratings

but every Iowa "away" game sold out , Caitlin chasing the scoring record helped fuel that

but looking at Fridays TV ratings , the Number 1 team in the country game with South Carolina vs NC State drew drew 7.1 million viewers while Iowa vs UConn drew 14.2 million viewers , which is twice as many , which broke the record which Iowa set just a few days before

the NCAA definitely got the matchup they wanted

sadly , I don't think my Hawkeyes have much of a chance against South Carolina , no ones stood much of a chance against South Carolina this year , their just a machine

what happens with women's college basketball after Caitlin leaves , I don't think we'll ever see this level of interest again , but can it ride the momentum , probably , for a while anyways

the next player to watch will be JuJu Watkins out of USC , she's going to be a good one , we'll she is she can capture the nations attention , we'll see in a couple years if she's chasing Caitlin s scoring record , but there are alot of really good players in womens college basketball right now ,

on a side note , Iowa has landed Addison Deal , a 5 star recruit , and top player in the state of Californian
