Probably a dozen of them? maybe more than that. We see mountain lions on our cams almost nightly. And even so it is rare indeed to see one while driving around our ranch. I think they are bolder in the cities... like San Clemente or the LA area in general since they no doubt see people constantly and have grown used to them. - JamesJM
