Before the breakwater was built it was one of the hottest surf spots in Cal. We now live about a mile from the harbor. Just yesterday I walked my dog to the north point past "baby beach" and sat on a bench and watched some nice waves come around the point to smash into the breakwater. Those homes on the bluff are in a precarious spot with all the local earth movement going on.
