Just after the Dana Point harbour opened a friend and I rode our bikes down to take a look. He and I watched it being built from our backyards and decided it was worth the risk, our parents would have said we couldn't and we were kids with bikes and wanted to explore. Back then the remains of a concrete stairway leading from a unfinished hotel on the bluff down to the original shoreline still existed. So being kids we decided to climb it, exposed rebar, missing sections gaps that looked huge . I went first made it to the top and two young nude girls were being photographed sitting on a partial wall. Photographer saw me behind the girls and said something.
One of the girls asked me if I wanted my photo taken with them with my pants off.
I declined.
