Are you saying a person was convicted of murder and was then paroled immediately w/o any jail time. "Paroled" means someone is already in prison but a remainder of his sentence is forgiven. Possibly you meant "probation" ? Even that would be unlikely if convicted of murder unless exceptional circumstances warrented a 2d degree murder or even lower than that such as manslaughter.
