THE SEARS from my Childhood!

December 13, 2023 03:13PM
Downtown Jacksonville. It closed around 1981-82 and was torn down around 1984. I LOOOOOOVED that place around this time of the year. It was decked out with decorations and the Toy Department was the best I have EVER seen. It's also where my Brother and I would get our school clothes...TOUGHSKINS!!!!!! My Dad worked at this store from 1960 till juuuust before I was born in 67. He then went to a small Catalog store and then a Mall.
