The show is so much better than his character on Cheers.. it took a season or two to hit their stride, but it was done soooooo well.. That's why its my all-time favorite sitcom.. If its available on netflix you should binge watch it through the entire run.. I think you'll really like it.. just give it a little time.. I didn't think the first season was all that..
