That's not unique to musicians or even famous people. Even among "regular" people, there are a few that are on the extreme edges. Having said that, their experience and how it influences their attitudes is necessarily different. Imagine not being able to go to Walmart without people flocking around you for autographs so do you walk away and be accused of being rude or turn a 15 minute trip into 2-3 hours of indulging fans? Or eat in a restaurant without people interrupting your meal constantly. Some of them handle that very graciously, some of them don't. Just like other generalized segments of the population.
