No response on the shooter's website, so apparently no one is familiar with this. It probably isn't a gun thing. I can't find a model that says anything about "spotlight" or crosshairs. So I'm assuming there wasn't anything in the manual or someplace that mentioned crosshairs? Just spotlight mode, but when you turn it on you notice crosshairs?

The odd part is "spotlight" mode is usually a longer range thing, which would seem that long distance would mitigate the effect of crosshairs, if they are in fact designed for aiming.

I got nothin' for you. I wish I did. I was hoping to come out of this looking smarter than I actually am.
