He bought an 8 track recorder stereo so he could tape his Ink Spot albums and play them in his 8-track in his Corvette...I was of course into Kiss, Nazareth, 'Smith, Thin Lizzy etc., but I'll tell you what they were pretty cool to my ears back then as well.
