Donuts have always had a very short life expectancy in my house.

Have to tell you a donut story from several years ago. I hadn't had a donut in I don't know how long and I was jonesing bad. Jumped in the car and drove ten miles to town to a grocery store that sold my favorite donuts. Grabbed a cart and made a bee line for the bakery department. I was about 100 feet from the donut case when I saw two very old gentlemen standing in front of the display case with the doors open. Just then one of the old guys let go with the loudest, wettest sounding sneeze I have ever heard right into the case. I just froze with my mouth open, shocked, disgusted, disappointed and dismayed. I thought about telling the baker behind the counter what I just witnessed but knew they would not throw out a whole case of donuts base on what I said I had seen. I just left my cart and walked out of the store.
