Just amazing beauty in the oceans and here comes man, throwing all his garbage and crap in there.. Its amazingly clear, but there are days where there is less visibility - or vis, as we say... I remember going diving in Mexico after a hurricane blew through and the vis was PATHETIC.. But on haze-free, non windy, calm days its shockingly clear.. You can see FOREVER...

But, the REALLY scary thing is that the caves we dive are even MORE clear.. so clear I sometimes forget I'm under water until a goldfish (caves are freshwater) swims in front of me or I go to scratch my face and the mask gets in the way.. We call that "gin clear" because its as clear as gin - the alcohol..
