Typhoon stopped us dead in our tracks.
My understanding is first need permission from the governing body of the island chain to dive it. We obtained that. unfortunately the weather had different ideas. The water is reportedly exceptionally clear and there are hundreds of sunken warships-some in very deep waters where you simply can't dive. Others are in relative deep waters-150 to 200 ft. Mainly decompression dives. Then there are the shallows where many warships were grounded. Those are likely the most dangerous because of surf, tide flows, current, etc.
The entire area is for very experienced divers. The clarity of the water tends to give you a false sense of comfort (so I'm told).
