Yeah, count me among ya....

I have a thing for Jackets..... BUT.... I rarely wear a jacket because as much as I like them on the hangar I hate 'bulk' when I'm out and about.

The kind I CAN wear the most, not all the time, are flannel shirt jackets with sherpa lining. Much lighter than a regular jacket and I don't feel restricted when I am wearing one. I just bought two of them, actually, in the last 2 weeks. The first one I wasn't paying attention and got one without hand pockets.... I hate that... so the day it came in I got back online and bought another WITH the hand pockets.... WHICH, was almost impossible to find. Whitetail makes them.

Ski jackets... I have 3. One of them I can't wear because I got it when i was much 'lighter' so it's too small now... (hopefully I will be able to wear it in 2 months). My warmest jacket is a CCW Jacket and it's VERY warm but also VERY bulky.

What is the current term for those quilt coats..... "puffer jackets" I think? I detest them. It's like being that kid in "A Christmas Story". I cannot wear them BUT.... they are the warmest.

So after all that the truth. I don't like jackets/coats because of the 'bulk'.... so unless it's near sub-zero whether I just suffer and go without. Stupid, I know, but it is what it is. - JamesJM
