According to overthecap.com the Rams are around $1.8M under the cap for 2023 ... and they have all the free agents listed below to contend with.

Trading AD after this season applies $15M in dead money to the cap. (i.e., the Rams would be $13.2M over the cap.)

Trade AD after the 2023 season, though, and the Rams get $5.67M in cap relief. So that's what I think: if the Rams are gonna trade AD it will be after next season.
