You can't designate a guy a post June 1 trade. To get the cap relief of a post June 1 trade you actually have to trade the guy after June 1. Of course, if you do that you aren't going to get any picks in the 2023 draft cuz the draft would have already happened.
This is different than when you cut a guy where you can indeed cut a guy before June 1 and call it a post June 1 transaction for cap purposes.
Originally, cutting a guy worked the way trades currently do. What was observed was that teams hung on to guys they wanted to cut until after June 1, which worked to the detriment of the players (who then had a harder time hooking on with a team) and to the detriment of the teams (who had fewer FA options when they actually had FA money to spend). The NFLPA and the NFL altered the procedure for cuts to benefit everyone involved ... but not for trades.
Edit: and yes, trading AD before June 1 does add $41M to the cap. But at the same time, according to overthecap.com, his 2023 salary and roster bonus come off the cap for a net of $15M in dead money
