I will place them in order of priority.
1. Fix the O line. Especially with guys who run block well. Why? The threat of a good running game will take pressure off of the passing game. Shoot, even Tutu is showing he can sprint past most defenders, which helps keep the defense honest. Primeo uno. Form a solid O line. In fact, this is # 1 to 3.
So....
4. Get a solid big RB. In this draft, that shouldn't be difficult. 6-1, 210 pounder type. Can block and consistently get 4 YPC. Especially if #1-3 above are addressed.
5. Edge rusher. Solid, not flashy. Wouldn't take a lot of dough.
6. An NFL quality TE. It's been so long since the Rams have had even a semi dependable TE. Getting Meyer from ND would be like 5 Christmases to me.
7. Dependable backup QB. Is it Mayfield? I wish. He's probably going to be signed as a #1 somewhere. But we can hope.
8. Anything after that is gravy.
Just fixing the O line alone would probably get this team back into the 2023-2024 playoffs.
That last line says it all. Since day one this season we haven't been able to block anyone, even when all of the starters were healthy. IMO, this is why we haven't been able to run at all this year and why Stafford and Wolford are injured.
Fixing that OL is JOB ONE in my mind.
