Draft picks that aren’t first rounders are pure potential and if they remain that after 2 or 3 years, move on.
The draft philosophy of drafting to win your division is sacrosanct. You’re going nowhere if you can’t win your division.
If you can’t beat a team in four years (ehem, the Niners), you’re a fool if you don’t draft to beat them.
The Niners’ defense is tough and disciplined.
The Rams need to mirror and exceed that. They need to sign players in free agency or off practice squads that are tough, quick and disciplined.
For the draft? They need to have the JACK DRAFT: pick the next JACK Youngblood, the next JACK Lambert, the next JACK Tatum.
No soft beta boys. They need more types in the mentality mode of Aaron Donald. I don’t know how this can be ignored and it looks like the Rams are moving in that direction. Hallelujah!!!
