Atwell is finally showing signs of being able to take on the WR4 role that Desean Jackson did the first half of last season. That would be great if that's the case. He and Skowronek could round out some good WR depth behind Kupp, Robinson and Jefferson. I really hope so.
But it doesn't make Humphrey and less of a slam dunk miss. He was All-Rookie and All-Pro last year and in year 2 is PFF's 2nd highest rated center.
