The Raiders are not a good football team. They find ways to lose. I Ioved Thursday's game but we weren't playing the 49ers D. Or the Cowboys. Or any other winning program. We scored 17 points so...yay? It was gritty and we got it done in the most dramatic fashion but that was a team win too. Raiders were shut down in the second half.
I think he's a great backup but he is not a franchise quarterback who can take you all the way. For most of these - 'hey look at him now' stories the clock eventually strikes midnight and they show why they aren't the one.
We all realize that it was just one game, and a certain outlier, at that. NO human being can keep up that pace.
But under the conditions BM was forced to operate under? Well, BM was beyond impressive if all things are considered. Let’s see how these next 4 games unfold.
As an aside, I want to repeat my observation that BM has intangibles that showed us players on both O and D playing out of their minds. He seems to have elite leadership intangibles.
