93% OL health the past 5 years...

November 17, 2022 09:22AM
I've posted this a couple times but it's worth repeating. From 2017-2021 Rams OL started 376 of 405 possible regular season games. 93%... That is an absurd stretch of health. In that context, we were due... Of course, 2022 is extreme the other way.

Teams try to have a quality 6th man for their OL. Maybe a 7th. When you get to your 8th OL having to contribute a lot and/or your starting 5 is missing 20% of more of total combined starts... you're in trouble. Period.

Two of the Rams top 3 projected backups (Anchrum and Bruss) combined for 2 snaps this year. Not two games, two snaps. The other, AJ Jackson (who very well could be their best OL this year), has their 2nd most snaps behind Havenstein but is now done for the year with 8 games to go.

Again, absurd...
